Chataway’s Tea Room serves refreshments whenever Winthrop Park is open, and serves scrumptious cakes, hot snacks, drinks, and sandwiches at some very reasonable prices. Menu includes gluten free and healthy eating options. The Tea Room can accommodate up to 30 people seated for buffets and refreshments, with seating for a further 16 on the patio area. Beautiful gardens.

Dissapointed so far tried to visit always closed!!! I have a disabled son and was told about winthrop sensory gardens. I looked up info on the website for opening times sun 10.30- 4pm it has great reviews,I have tried to visit twice now and each time the gates are locked, tried telephoning can anyone tell me when this hidden gem is open ? 07-05-17

Great sandwiches and homemade cakes at very reasonable costs. Had a good selection on the menu gluten free and healthy options. Beautiful gardens and patio area. Really freindly and relaxing. Well worth a regular visit. 19-04-12
